Just had my mid term for the Environment in Film class. Included a Blue-Ray screening of Oscar nominated Food INC. The second time I'd seen it and it doesn't make me hate corporations and Colorado any less.

Next week is a Blue Ray screening of An Inconvenient Truth. Which I've never bothered to see. So I guess I'm excited to examine it.

That was like an inside joke. :D
I don't eat pork at all, except for that one time in Ohio when I ate it without knowing and it's ok if you don't know. We are not allowed to eat pork
Ohh I didn't know that!

Pork is alright you're not missing anything too good IMO. I eat it about once a year

The majority of advances in cancer have come from our Universities.

But that's not the point. You made an ignorant statement. Assuming you knew the context of my comment. Which obviously wasn't the case, considering you haven't seen the movie.
Your comment was vague and open to interpretation.

Corporations like SAIC have done quite a lot in the field of medical science. I know, my dad has worked as a civilian employee for them for over 20 years.

actually hes right in a sense, private equity and investors fund most of modern, despite its many faults capitalist market is still empirically the superior system. The truth is we're spoiled, those very same things we hate so much increased life expectancy by some 20 years...

Two words: limited liability.

Truth be told, there really isn't anything better than capitalism. There is no such thing as a perfect world.
