Hans Zimmer was a pop artist for a Pop band before he started composing...Beatles were the one that revolutionized that whole scene, so if there were no Beatles, there would be no Hans nor in Pop, nor in Classical. I think you fail too see how influential the Beatles were in those days, especially their music. No one had heard any types of sound before that compared to Beatles so it's only natural.

Been playing Piano since I was 11. Always played melodies in my head as long as I remember when I was in School but never put them out in paper. 6-7 years composing but been taking it slowly because there is so much knowledge to be gained from the Theory itself.
Actually I just contradicted myself there, composing a Symphony is fast as it gets for a 21 year old :D
That's awesome! Composing symphonies at 21. WOW!
The Beatles are UNIVERSAL!

Plus they wrote Eleanor Rigby:D
Sal, who do you like more: Pink Floyd or The Beatles?

The Beatles,hands down.

Most of the music i listen to these days is in my car,and somehow i cant listen to Pink Floyd in the car. It's like a snoozemachine, give or take a few songs.

You're into progressive,so i'm sure you like Floyd more.Right?

Totally. Besides, I haven't heard much from The Beatles. The only songs I remember are I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.

God, I love progressive music so much!
