It depends. Your odds are good, however. To non-Catholics, including many Protestant Christians, it will be a good joke. To at least half the Catholics, it will be one of these jokes:

It's the other half of the Catholics you might have to worry about, but I think you'll be fine.
Of course, if you're a Muslim, the best joke would be to strap on a vest covered with nails and a lot of small block-shaped items wrapped in brown paper bags. I think it would be hilarious, but you have to worry about the 2% who wouldn't think it was a joke.
