Your going into foreign affairs? I was thinking Security Analysis myself.
Want to know the plan?

finish this degree, do an internship at the un in the pr areas during the summer comming, meet people and network. Do my masters and use the contacts i made to set up some more internships and try to make more contacts. From there try and get work from all of my contacts and the journalism industry. After some time in journalism move into the public sector as a libdem mp if the morons have sorted themselves out by then if not become a tory mp and move up the party ranks to cabinet or shadow cabinet. Eventually become an ambasador to france and live the good life in a france. Hopefull acquiring some property around europe to retire on.

finnish this degree, do an internship in one of the security analysis firms in london or the E.U., do a masters in International Conflict Resolution. Go for jobs straight away for 6-9 months, then internships if needs be. Advance through my field to be a top anaylst by the time im 35, 2025. Become involved in Domestic Politics is it suits me, rise up the ranks of New Fianna Fáil or stay in security analysis or lecture on it.
Retire to either Germany or Turin.

My plan has changed a few times but the eventual aims have been the same. I had considered phd'ing it on either the relationship between politics and religion in the 21st century or the relationship between religion, film, censorship and the sociological impacts. From there lecture on the subject and then move in journalism...the rest is the same.

I am ashamed, i dont know if i have you on facebook (add me if not), my status last night was

"thinks that dick griffin should, whenever he is in public, speak through a 1930s speaker system, just so the thick people who vote for the bnp can draw the connection."

Im not against imigrantion, im against un regulated imigration. No one has the right to turn someone away from the country they reside in because it isnt their country, but i believe it is a governmental issue to make sure that the flow of imigration isnt damaging to the countries economy, welfare or issues of overcrowding.

I think a country has a right to refuse entry to people who can't contribute to the economy first and foremost.

No Scientologist either :(
Thats kind of what i was getting at. I cannot oppose imigration on the grounds of 'its our country' Id like to see what the BNP would do with the nhs if they reversed imigration since in the 60s, the nhs is dependent on people who are of at minimum 4th gengeration british by birth and has a strong hold in first generation imigrant doctors, nurses and general workers.
