He claims to be a "true Libertarian".
Savage is absolutely not. I don't even think he knows what he is.

My mom and I were listening to one of his freakcasts on a trip back from the 313, and this guy was slandering women, spouting homophobic tirades, and advocating the war on Iraq all in the same segment. This scatterbrain didn't even make any sense, and even my hardcore Catholic mother thought his views on women and gays were horrendous. That tells me something, alright.

Man, you're absolutely right. I was listening to a woman who lived in Romania under the same circumstances back in the 60's, and she claims we're heading that same direction.

Fact of the day: Instead of putting trillions of dollars to bailing out banks around Wall Street and the Globe, the government could have easily wiped out all household debt with one swoop of the pen. Imagine that. Sure, Goldman Sachs would have crashed the market and bankers would try to restrict capital loans, but everybody in the nation would not have this debt burden that caused this problem. It's all about debt.

We are quickly heading towards a oligopolistic, fascist state, IMO. We are the new serfs under supreme rule.
They added more debt on the people. Because this bail out money you guys (the american people) will pay it. It looks to me that the problem is that due to high corruption no matter who you get as a president it won't matter. When you you see senators from both sides acting tough toward the crook CEOs infront the public right now, but before the crisis many didn't say any word eventhough they knew the illegal stuff going on, only because they were shut via getting paid under the table, and they keep getting reelected, to be honest I don't see any good in the future

Well being a true Libertarian is kind of scary.

Unfortunately. It's all a facade.

Funny thing is though, some "rogue" judge has ruled that the Federal Reserve MUST disclose all transactions in the past year with regard to bank funding. Bernanke says that a Fed audit will cause systemic risk to our financial system and put our economy in jeopardy of a major disaster. What are they hiding? What is the deal?

Well, we may find out on August 31st, unless they take the ruling to higher courts. They could also stall and simply defy government law, something that wouldn't be surprising because their existence is in breach of the Constitution anyway. Apparently, if this info is revealed, we will see a system collapse, so just be aware. Don't think it will happen at this point though... they are too sly.

The amount of accounting fraud and manipulation and insider trading will eventually lead to our collapse. No idea when, but if this stuff continues, it will.
