I think it's good to be slightly aspirational when it comes to the woman. You want her to feel like being with the guy is a social step up for her.

That doesn't mean chick flick per se, but an entertaining, thinking-person's movie is not a bad move.

I think the only worry is if she wants to take him to "My Angry Vagina Thinks All Men Are Shit" and he agrees ... then there's a definite Nancy Boy problem, and he may was well lock himself in the trunk of his car for the evening.

Not quite.I only spend an hour in a club & ill either go home alone or with a very nice girl.I love the bright glove compartment lights in my mercedes,it helps me make good decisions in visible conditions.
