So, what do you think might be a good plan?

Here's some advice:

Take her to a movie (one she will enjoy), and out for a bite to eat is fine.

Don't have more than 3 drinks and don't ask about ex-boyfriends or tell her about yours.

Keep the chat relevant to you, don't yammer on about your mates.

Ask her questions about herself. Easy ones that keep the conversation light. Do more listening than talking.

Don't stare at her boobs or act like a creeper.

If you're having a good time. Tell her. If she is she will probably agree with you.

If she does admit to having a good time. Make plans to go out again and take her home (after you are finished with the date).

Don't be desperate and do NOT tell her you love her.

Hand holding on the way to the car is ok, sure it's a bit corny but girls like it.

Be a man. Open doors and pull out her chair for her. Don't order for her. That's what an asshole does.
