It was a 5 but it downgraded before making landfall. I can't remember what it was when it hit N.O. I think it was a cat 3. Andy can correct me if Im mistaken.
Enron: The models do not look good, nothing much in place to weaken the cyclone. A direct hit on NO will not happen but a strike on the Western side of the state seems to be likely.
