...and on a related note, I met an Emarati Arabic teacher who told me she's so against the use of broken-Arabic or pidgin-Arabic language, which is a simplified version of incorrectly spoken Gulf-dialect used for communication with nationals of the subcontinent...

For the non-Arabs here, it's something like "caveman" language in English...like "You go here, I wait you." or something like that.......what's even more peculiar there's even a particular way of speaking it (i.e. it has it;s own sentence structure!!)

Imagine a entire language based on grammatical incorrectness of another!! :p

Are you familiar with the concept of Franglais? :D

Back from impulsive dinner in an italian restuarant with old classmates I hadnt seen in a long while (Just saw them while shopping). Weird how people change when they come to a certain age, hehe.

It was hot as hell, and seriously, Uppsala are invaded by musquitos, I kid you not, its a near epidemic :p Just standing still for 30 seconds is impossible. Did what I went there for, buying UFC 2009, and GTFO quickly as heck. Will see how my favourites Anderson Sylva, Machida and Mir are on ze game, hopefully fun.

Yeah unfortunately, we don't live in igloos.

I miss the  smiley
:disagree:

Today I went into town and met some friends. We saw a street performer guy starting up a show with a really tall unicycle and fire torches (the ones you juggle) so we stayed and watched. There was a big crowd of people watching but twice he picked me out of the crowd to get involved. Once, I threw one of the fire torches to him, the second time I held up his unicycle and he sort of climbed up me onto it (the unicycle was about 7 feet tall).
