Antunes sounds like a good try at the back. You know more about him than I though.
Barely. He looked a bit rough around the edges in his last U21 starts. And his Serie A campaign has mostly been quiet. That may change this season however, since he's out on loan to Lecce where he'll get a lot more first-team experience.
Given what I saw tonight, he wasn't nearly as constructive as Miguel at crosses (who came off the bench for an injured Bosingwa and suddenly looked like the Miguel of old). But unlike a Molinaro, they were near his teammates. His crossing looks like it needs work, but his one-on-one defensive play looked quite good.
Of course, we are talking Faroe Islands, where anyone with feet of matching shoe sizes can be a starter. But I did opt to start him in my Yahoo Serie A fantasy squad.
