I'm watching the start of the Carlos Queiroz era. He's actually started Antunes at left-back, who is playing far superior than I've seen Paulo Ferreira ever do there. Even if Faroe Islands is playing 11 men behind the ball. (You know it's bad when Almeida has a shot on goal that's inadvertently blocked by the back of Pepe at CB in the run of play.)

Antunes sounds like a good try at the back. You know more about him than I though.
Barely. He looked a bit rough around the edges in his last U21 starts. And his Serie A campaign has mostly been quiet. That may change this season however, since he's out on loan to Lecce where he'll get a lot more first-team experience.

Given what I saw tonight, he wasn't nearly as constructive as Miguel at crosses (who came off the bench for an injured Bosingwa and suddenly looked like the Miguel of old). But unlike a Molinaro, they were near his teammates. His crossing looks like it needs work, but his one-on-one defensive play looked quite good.

Of course, we are talking Faroe Islands, where anyone with feet of matching shoe sizes can be a starter. But I did opt to start him in my Yahoo Serie A fantasy squad. :)
