You see that shit, Tahir?

Just like last year, we were able to shut down Malkin and Crosbeak for the most part. Perhaps not so much on the former, so we need to do better. But Zetterberg, despite the moron NBC commentators praising Crosbeak for "shutting him down after the big hit", did great at neutralizing the Pens' captain. If that will continue, we will win the Cup, because we have other players to step in and score if Zetts and Dats are just doing defensive jobs.

That's what I love about this side.

Hell ya man.

Yeah, thought that was bullshit as well. Zetterberg was on Crosby like butter on toast the entire game I thought.

So the entire Playoffs I've been wondering who the fook is "Abdicater" and today I realized it's the commentators butchering the name "Abdelkader":howler: I've never seen it written that way b/c usually there is a space between Abdel and Kader but in any case it should be pronounced "Abdaylkadeer"

Yeah it's almost like Abdul Kader, which is what I wrote into Google the first time I heard he'd be called up. Needless to say I got a bunch of Arab people. :D

The guy is fucking awesome though.

Fun fact: Before last year, the teams we beat in the Stanley Cup Finals since 1996 have been the Flyers, the Capitals, and the Hurricanes.

Who did the Pens beat on the way to these finals? The Flyers, the Capitals and the Hurricanes, in that order. :eyebrows:

You should know Arabs, Dearborn is crawling with them :D

Yeah, spot on, that's the most common way it's written (alternatively written with Q instead of K as well)

Yeah I've been meaning to go to Dearborn during the last couple years, but didn't have time when I was in the city. My peeps don't frequent there but I know I would, just to get a taste of the Lebanese and other cultural delicatessen prepared home-made.

My mouth is watering up looking at that. I'm surviving on chicken salad from this evening.

I say we take the Detroit route to Canada just to enjoy some Lebanese food from Dearborn

Al-Ameer Maza
10 Different plates, served with a vegetable plate: chicken wings, falafel, hommous, baba ghanouge, tabbouli, fattoush, fried kebbie,
grape leaves, and labneh.

My God :lol2:

edit: And that's just the appetizer
Now that sounds good.

Those sandwiches also sound great. What are Arabic sandwiches like?

I've had Lebanese wraps before at a good restaurant -- they seem to be somewhat like gyros.
