This is hilarious. From Kanye West's blog about the SP episode featuring him:

SOUTH PARK MURDERED ME LAST NIGHT AND IT'S PRETTY FUNNY. IT HURTS MY FEELINGS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SOUTH PARK! I ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON MY EGO THOUGH. HAVING THE CRAZY EGO IS PLAYED OUT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE AND CAREER. I USE TO USE IT TO BUILD UP MY ESTEEM WHEN NOBODY BELIEVED IN ME. NOW THAT PEOPLE DO BELIEVE AND SUPPORT MY MUSIC AND PRODUCTS THE BEST RESPONSE IS THANK YOU INSTEAD OF "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" IT'S COOL TO TALK SHIT WHEN YOU'RE RAPPING BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE. WHEN YOU MEET LITTLE WAYNE IN PERSON HE'S THE NICEST GUY FOR EXAMPLE. I JUST WANNA BE A DOPER PERSON WHICH STARTS WITH ME NOT ALWAYS TELLING PEOPLE HOW DOPE I THINK I AM. I NEED TO JUST GET PAST MYSELF. DROP THE BRAVADO AND JUST MAKE DOPE PRODUCT. EVERYTHING IS NOT THAT SERIOUS. AS LONG AS PEOPLE THINK I ACT LIKE A BITCH THIS TYPE OF SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME. I GOT A LONG ROAD AHEAD OF ME TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE I'M NOT ACTUALLY A HUGE DOUCHE BUT I'M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. I'M SURE THE WRITERS AT SOUTH PARK ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO DRAW MY CREW. THAT WAS PRETTY FUNNY ALSO!! I'M SURE THERE'S GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN THIS... THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT'S ME!

The guy is really trying NOT to be egoistic but comes of just as narcissistic :lol2: I'm not sure his fans got that.

Word.

Really ? I got used to Hartford that I loved it. Every 2 weeks I'd go to New York and New Jersey to see a best friend of mine. Life is so much better there.
Oh, glad you settled in then. But uch, I hate New York for a million reasons and New Jersey is probably the worst place ever.

Ze, are you still planning to be a pilot ?
Yeah man, working on it right now. I hope to be done by the end of the year and then I'm going for a job with Pakistan Int'L Airlines.

Really ? New York looked insane, I wish I had applied for the Juillard music school but meh, with all the noise and partying in the city, I doubt I would have even gotten any work done and no motivation to compose anything.

Me and a childhood friend of mine wanted to be pilots, when we were kids, we used to own Flight Simulator 96 to 2002, or was it 2004 and fly around with a joystick for hours and do flights. I remember joining "Emirates Virtual Airlines" and did a flight from Dubai to Gatwick. 777-300 is still my favorite plane. Weird and good times.

They also have a reality show on MTV that has students from there :D Btw, have you ever heard of Apocalyptica?

It's funny: Most people that I've come across in my major played Flight Simulator (some still do) and most people know pretty much every airplane ever made...civil and military. I don't like Flight Simulator at all, never liked it, and my knowledge of airplanes is pretty bad. I just wanted to become a pilot because I flew so many times in my life and I got to visit the cockpit once when I was a kid. I thank KLM for everything :touched: :D

Apocalyptica the band ? Yeah definitely but haven't heard much of their songs.

Yeah, I had the honor of entering an Air France 747 cockpit when me and my family were going to Paris when I was young. If I wasn't going to be a conductor, I would have opted for flying. But my love for classical music goes without boundaries.

Depends on how frequently you fly. It can be done in 3-4 months if you go regularly and progress well.

It's taken me forever because first I had a terrible instructor that actually made me hate flying then I made the mistake of going home every summer break instead of staying and finishing up so I kept having to do over the same shit when I got back, then I had issues with the embassy losing my passport after I sent it for renewal...that kept me away from flying for like 5 months, and I also had the pleasure of having a xenophobic flight school manager. Good times

Yes, usually it is a Cessna. It's the best training aircraft in the world.

I decided to go the university route. My Uni - UMD Eastern Shore - has an Aviation Science major and my concentration is Professional Pilot. In order to graduate I need to get the PPL, Instrument rating, CPL, and Multi-Engine rating. The actual school doesn't have an airport like Embry Riddle (down in Daytona Beach, FL) so I fly at the airport in Ocean City, MD.

edit: What is not blocked then? :D

Enjoy it dude, I can only imagine how much fun and relaxing it must be.

Who knows, when you're done, maybe you can be my "personal instructor" in the future :D

I'll be looking to get that certificate once I'm settled with my work in the states.
