It's human nature to think negatively rather than positively. When they are usually presented with an option, they usually first think about the negative outcomes of choosing an option. It's obviously not true for all cases, but i believe that is how most people think like.

Oh, i'm just testing and discussing my theories with my customers from time to time. It keeps them interested, and helps me validate and understand my theories better. Besides, would you take a 23 yr. old psychologist seriously? Most people have an image of at least a mid-30's guy as being a psychologist. Age gives them the assurance that i know what i'm doing, and if they do it too, it'll really help. You're just messing with their mind for good. And age plays a good part in it.
