We are a third period team, so this is nothing new. We lead the league in third period goals and I'm damn glad of that fact. Having a rough go of it in the first period of this playoff season is actually a great thing.

Swedish connection is key, huge fucking colony, but used to like ze red wings when they only had Lidström and Holmström,not like 12 other swedes too like now. Fav players used to be Sergei Fedorov Iwith the stare of a rapist) and Steve Yzerman (Larionov too). But thats a loooooooooong time ago.

It's not really gay. If you look at players such as Holmstrom, Kronwall, Zetterberg and Nicky Lidstrom, none of these guys were top prospects like Mats Sundin, who was first overall in his draft year. All our Swedish boys were either second, third or fourth rounders in the draft, something extremely exceptional, which just goes to show how great our entire organization is at picking talents and developing them. I just love players such as Henrik and Pavel even more because they weren't the top prospects like Crosby, Malkin, Sundin, et cetera. They had to work harder for their status in the league.

This, along with the sheer number of Swedes on our side, is probably why Tahir likes the Wings so much.
