And MASH?

MASH was a comedy.
MASH is way more than a comedy. It took a completely new tone once Alda started writing and directing.

The two are similar in that, even though one is a drama and the other a comedy, they were both more than their genre. The writers took the shows in in different directions and did it well.

True, but Alda didn't start writing until later in the show when it was already on it's downslide.

Not really. I still think a lot has to be proven. Just that the stakes have been raised.

I thought tomorrow was F MASH day... :confused2

The laugh track lost its way once they tried to tell stories of morality.

As for ER? "Er" was always a good monosyllabic grunt. Until they came along. F ER. Never did like that show.

Sorry for not picking up earlier Drew, I was skreepin'.
I read the forums after calling you.

yay penn state is the best of all the shitty teams in the country!
    Yeah, okay Mr. GiantBosoxMiamiHurrianceStarJuventino.

    Fucked your wife.

Add to that the guest spots done by fantastic actors such as Danny Glover, Sally Field, Mickey Rooney, Ewan McGregor, Alan Alda, Forrest Whitacker, that's just all I can name off the top of my head. And we might have witnessed one of the best shows television has given us ever.
I was certainly pleased with those I saw, especially the Glover episode.

But ER was my second favorite show to Seinfeld in the 90's.

Oh yea and Kovac was also the shit.

Now I get to ponder statistical analysis before beddies.
Just finished up that busy work nonsense myself.

Haters without a cause. Now I know you all for your true selves.

I'm going to watch Big and go to bed.
    Word.
