You got it
Arrived here yesterday. What surprised me the most though is how friendly and social the locals are!
I'm sure you're going to love it. In all honestly I think people are really great here, majority are really really friendly and quite chill. Plus you're going to see a fuck ton of hot girls, I guarantee you that. Don't forget to eat EVERYTHING that's from Balkan roots.

People are great here! It's been super fun so far. Girls are amazing, and quite social too!
I love the food , there's a little Turkish twist to it which makes some dishes familiar. All in all great experience so far!

You'll literally get 0% IMO. We sort of hate America for what they've done to us but not really the regular folks. You'll get quite welcomed like any other foreigner. Not even Croats get troubled here while I can't say the same about Serbs going there. And imo there's no way there'd be any problem unless you're the one pulling some strange shit and provoking way too much. People are way too chill. There are some morons like in every other place and it's usually local fans that are pretty hard core and pretty brain dead.

Yeah for sure, I'm definitely not recognizable as an American in Europe anyway. I've been mistaken for Swedish, Swiss, and Canadian more than American. Actually, Swedish three times. I'm hitting up Greece this year and thinking about Croatia/Serbia next.

You'd love it. People underestimate these place so it's kinda a hidden gem. Oh and btw since I know you're a food fan you'd miss so fucking much if you don't taste stuff that we have here. Chances are high you'd get surprised like never before.

You're a blonde so yeah, Swedish would be my guess lol.

I don't know about you personally, but I'd say most Americans are very recognizable. They just look so incredibly out of place most of the time.

It works the other way around as well I imagine. When I'm in the US, I always feel a bit like I'm in that place they show in the movies. Feels surreal.

Haha, yes indeed. I wouldn't miss having the food there for the world. I'm sure it's fantastic. What are the must see places other than Belgrade? Any towns considered vacation spots?

I guess it would depend on how you dress and act. Most Americans have a similar style and are probably completely in tourist mode. Then there's also the fact many are out going and don't always mind their own business either. But from my experience I don't think many know I'm Murican until they start talking or listening to me, and even then they still thought my wife and were Swedish or Swiss.
