Lol. On the one hand it's awesome. Because you think, fuck yeah, let's go to war. On the other you sort of want to focus on healthy things. But the truth is that being bitter and resentful are not bad qualities for a lawyer and in fact many thrive on it. It is very much like Suits in that sense.
Pyrrhic victories are a thing. Something my older brother doesn't acknowledge. He'd go Captain Ahab over getting the wrong condiment on his hamburger.

might be fun in the short term but that doesnt sound like a recipe for long term happiness and positive mental health

It does not. The competitor does have one field of law I am very interested in, which is medical liability. There is a lot of money to be made in that field and there are only a handful of law firms in Belgium who specialise in it. So there's that as well.

What you get is this: "Fact is, we went to war, and now there ain't no going back. I mean, it's what war is, you know? Once you in it, you in it. If it's a lie, then we fight on that lie.".

Once you're in that situation, you're in it. And there's no going back.

i suppose its alright if you can set aside the bitterness and not make it personal. some people can do that but, if you cant, i would walk away from that situation.

that isnt the kind of mindset you want to be in on a daily basis

You could literally start doing anything as a side hustle.

Just do something, anything! Doesn't matter what it is.

E-commerce and distribution. Although my distribution game hasn't been going well lately.
It's thinking about what to even do or how to even get started that I'm stuck on.

The thing you have to know about Belgian law is that it is quite different from American law in the sense that you basically go to court over everything. Going to court is cheap here, compared to the cost in other countries. That means that, if I were to go to that particular law firm, I'd meet my former colleagues in court every week. As an opponent. You can imagine the sort of atmosphere I would be getting myself in to.
Would it really be that much different than going against some other firm?

All these years I thought he was a hot shot. But last few posts of his is showing why they replaced him with an intern.

He ain't no Harvey Spectre, more like Harold Gunderson.
Lol. Stop baiting me. This isn't about fear. It's about mental health. Feuds run for decades between lawyers. Not sure I want to spend my life doing that.

Both of those firms have a reputation of making everything personal. So even if I go there with the best intentions, my new employer would be egging me on. And the former firm would definitely interpret it as a declaration of war.

But then again war looks so tempting. Of course I want go after them.

There are a lot of aspects to this. The law is about winning and losing. And winning against someone you used to work for is so much sweeter.

In the end, that's what Suits is all about. Personal conflicts and fucking people over. Which is fun, I'm not going to deny that.

Write down a list of things your like then cut the list down based on practicality then ask some friends what they think then ignore your friends and do what you decide to do.

Just stopped following Maradona on IG. Motherfucker supports and recognizes Nicolas Maduro as the legitimate president of Venezuela. Also, he supports Alberto Fernandez and Evo Morales (who recently "won" elections with a blatant fraud).

Maradona has to be the most despicable personality in the football world. I hope he dies.

Maradona was friends with Camorra on Napoli.
