What are you studying?
I'm already a lawyer, and I recently quit my job in law. I own two small businesses though.

Why are you thinking of switching?
I realized I didn't really like law a long time ago, when I was still a student and worked for one of the biggest law firms. Now as a lawyer with a couple of years of experience in commercial law, I still feel the same. I don't even wanna try other areas of law at this point.

In addition to that, working with my sister as a community manager has made me realize how much I love digital marketing.

Why would you get one?
A couple of reasons.

I want to have the Uni experience again but this time in a foreign country. I dunno if I'm wrong about this but I feel an MBA would provide greater mobility than just my law degree (which is pretty useless abroad) i.e. landing a job after finishing the MBA in the country I chose to study in.

That makes sense. If your law degree isn’t from a university with some sort of international accreditation then it is pretty good much useless abroad.

Where are you thinking of studying? Which countries.

Been looking at Spain, France and Germany. I'd love to do it in an English speaking country but MBAs are super expensive.

Wouldn't you like to study communication?

:shifty:
But isn't communication a useless degree just like marketing? From my little experience and knowledge, those degrees are pretty much useless because marketing is too fluid and ever-changing, and whatever they teach you in school could be outdated by the time you finish your degree. Even the theoretical aspects of markets and consumer behavior, etc., is mostly stuff you can learn through reading a few good books.

Marketing is one of those things you learn doing, testing, practising.

I believe that an MBA + real life experience in digital marketing would make me a lot more valuable and attractive to companies.

It's true. I think it's important and useful, but for those reasons you just gave it isn't so convenient to do the career.
