The job's not challenging, doesn't pay much, can't trust the company. I took a lower paying position because I was promised another position that was opening up this month but my boss decided to hire his cousin, who isn't qualified.

So time to find something else.
Damn, that sucks. And you haven't been there long. But I think you're being smart. That smells like a bad, rotten fish left underneath your mattress. Don't get used to that smell.

Because at this rate Bolivia will turn into a tyranny, and most likely hit a huge economic crisis the way Venezuela did. I don't wanna be here when the shit hits the fan.

Evo Morales has been in office since 2006. He already manipulated the Constitutional Court in order to run for a fourth consecutive term in 2019 despite the fact that the constitution explicitly prohibits him from doing so, and that he lost a referendum last year in which he sought to change the constitution to be allowed to run again.

Many Bolivian opposition politicians have been banned or forced into exile. Evo has widespread powers to quash independent civil society groups and the fucking cunt does it.

In addition, my half German girlfriend will move to Spain once she's done with med school (only one year left) as the new Criminal Code will fuck doctors up with its bad drafting and severe punishments for malpractice. It's no surprise that almost every doctor in the country is currently on a strike and many are seriously considering leaving the country. The government has already brought "doctors" (many of them are not actually doctors) from Cuba... You can see where this is going.

Anyway, back to my gf leaving, her father owns two small clinics in Leipzig and wants her to take care of them. She doesn't want to live there but she will have to stay for a while in Leipzig to learn the business. The plan is to live in Spain after that and only visit Leipzig sporadically.

I'll go with her, maybe even as her husband by then, and give her a hand with the business. Told ya, I'm not gonna be here when the country fucks itself into oblivion.
Interesting. It was interesting following Fabby when she hiked it out of Venezuela to Mexico City. Ridiculously smart move for her in hindsight. I wonder what Bolivia will bring around the corner.

What is it that makes them more sassy or kinky than other girls?
Poutine wrestling.

Not here for marriage though.
They say it's cuffing season. I say it's season for the leather mask and ball gag as well.

What's for lunch batches?
Pork shoulder, potatoes, and fennel. It kinda rocked for lunch, but it was my wife's leftovers. :lick:

Is raw water the new anti vaxxing?
The sad part of hypes like this is that there are vast numbers of people dying precisely because they do not have access to uncontaminated drinking water. I'm not saying you deserve to die if you go along with shit like this, but you sure deserve to be sick for a few days/weeks.

The funny thing about anti vaxxers and idiots like this is that they are really a testament to how effective these things are. Vaccines have been so immensely successful in eradicating measles and smallpox that loads of people today arent even aware of the horrors that accompanied epidemics like that pre vaccine era and dont even realize how thankful they should be.

True.

But, you know, vaccines sound dangerous. They're a great, but for some people difficult to understand, piece of science. I could allow some leeway. I can see why people who are very dumb would be anti-vaxxers.

This raw water thing on the other hand is on a completely different level. We have millennia of experience with contaminated drinking water. Hell, I bet that there is some part in the fucking Bible in which people die because of drinking contaminated water.

I saw a guy on the local news last night who was promoting raw water (total hipster douche). He goes out and finds streams in the wild and drinks from them. His criteria as to whether or not to drink from it seemed to be mostly based on how picturesque the stream and surrounding woods were. Something about a lack of impurities found in "industrialized" water. Coincidentally he was also running a business of selling his stream water to hipster techies in SF for 10$ a gallon.

sorry there isn't, water mostly symbolizes purity and life in the Bible, so the only ones dying from it are drowning sinners like the egyptians and everyone bar Noah's family. you could even say that Moses was the first raw water enthusiast Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with the staff, and water gushed out. So the entire community and their livestock drank :p

"When the Israelites left the Red Sea and came to Marah they found the water there bitter and complained to Moses. God allowed Moses to perform the miracle of making the water sweet and restored the Israelites faith in Him"

So basically Moses purified the fucking water. As you should.
