You sort of have to live in the moment though. If you're always looking to the future, you don't get to experience life right now.
I agree. But you can't pretend future doesn't exist either.

It all comes down to one thing: do tattoos look good on an old person? No, they do not.

I do like tattoos at this point on younger people. I do. Not all tattoos obviously. But even if I got one I'd surely admit that I'm gonna look horrible when I grow old.

Like I said, you might enjoy not pulling your dick out of your gf but you gotta face the consequences later. But here's the deal. You getting a child might make both of you happier, so it'd bring something good. Getting a tattoo can only end up being bad in future, no two ways about it.

But hey, if either you or Ddevil like those photos and how these people look, then I think there's nothing to discuss. We'd agree to disagree while I'd probably consider both of you morons at some level.

You are offered one of two, happiness or truth, which would you choose?
Henry David would choose truth.

To not get a tattoo because you worry how it might look when you are old? That's so german.

Don't get a hipster/cliche/trend tattoo and you are good to go.

Most importantly i live in the here and now, and not in 30 years.

...And Who cares about your looks once you are old anyway? No one.

A tattoo is mainstream nowadays though. Tells you absolutely nothing about the personality.
:agree: such a weak trend lmao. People love to get shitty tattoos.

I cringe when they try to explain themselves and go into detail about the tattoos backstory. Lmao @ coming up with some fake story to give your ugly, unoriginal tattoo some sort of special meaning.

So, anybody else feel above/superior to people with tattoos?

Truth.
You can create your happiness once you've come to terms with whatever you have, and take proper action to maintain that happiness. But the truth isn't as malleable.

In that girl's case the truth is her mother is willing to go above and beyond to please her daughter despite being a single mother, she should appreciate that and have thicker skin. So what if she doesn't have a father, there are millions of kids that are orphaned, abandoned or neglected by both their parents. She should appreciate what she has, but I doubt she has the emotional maturity to accept that as it is, especially as a young youth.

I'm not putting the kid at fault in any way, I really think the mother should just tell the truth. Eventually liars get buried in the mountain of lies they've created.

wud not hire if i was employer. wud not date if she was bish. wud not friend if he was guy.
Nah. You are just trolling me now :D

There are lot's of people with tattoos under their suits, probably more than you would think. As long as you don't have a frigging face tattoo, you can always hide it, so that your narrow minded employer doesn't get to see it.

Lol of course, it's just banter.

I worked at a law firm that boasted being one of the best in Bolivia and a few lawyers had tattoos. The partners didn't mind as long as they weren't visible to clients.

I wonder if this "tattoos are not suitable for Job X" mindset will change if my, and the next generation, get old.
Generations that grew up with seeing tattoos everywhere. Doesn't make you more or less competent after all.
