Membership has its privilege. :pado:
Give him an advise, you ignored him ffs! You, the elder :D

That's pretty inconsiderate though :D Worse yet, I got it through a friend of a friend.

Anyway I suppose that's what I'll do :D
I was in a similar position but... I was never offered a second job! :D

No, seriously, I know it sucks. But you gotta do what's best for you. It would be kinda retarded to refuse this certain job and go after a question mark. And it would be kinda sad if you stayed on a worse job just to be polite.

I know. I was definitely taking the other job. I just was trying to figure how and when to tell them.

Guyz. Just had a job interview, and I expect to get a call later to confirm the job. And they want me to start next week. But I'm supposed to have another interview later this week, for a significantly better job. However, that one is no guarantee. What should I do?
@swag
Sorry, I usually ignore all mentions. :D

Ask for time to think it over and talk it over with family and your current work situation. As long as there's a deadline for you to respond, you should be able to pull off something.

On another note, I'm owning my gf in an argument and I hate how she doesn't care about making sense. Fuck this shit!

In that case, you're in more dicey unethical territory. You can burn bridges and develop a networked reputation if you don't show up on the job because you quietly took another offer since you accepted. We had a hire who did that to us only two weeks after starting work with us before she accepted the other offer she was originally hoping to get and came late. She became known as "10-day Daphne" for years afterwards, and the name stuck with her. You want to avoid situations like that.

But you can stage your own death before starting the job if you really have to accept a second offer after the fact...

I still have a week before I start. If I tell them by the end of the week is it that bad?

Say you have a prior engagement that you cannot get out of. Doctor's appointment or something, if they question it.

I don't wanna cancel that job :D

Better before you start... so yeah, more face-saving though still a touch douchy. What you absolutely should not do is just not show up: some people do that and that's the worst form of all.
Yeah, I wouldn't do that :D

But to justify myself, the second job is 40 minutes driving time closer, better hours and probably better pay. I'd be pretty dumb to turn that down out of politeness wouldn't I?
