Thanks bro, you rock.
Yeah, it's been pretty tough tbh. In 17 days it's gonna be exactly years, I still remember the date. It's pretty horrible cause I know I'm not the only one struggling like this. It's even harder for older folks who end up fired at the age of 40+ cause chances are like <5% they'd ever find some job unless they have connections. When my mom quit her job her company vanished and she was literally the only one who found a new job, she heard from her friends and till today they found nothing (and it's been 6-7 years now).
I'm pretty excited though, but I try not to expect too much cause I'll end up disappointed. At this point I can only hope for two things: 1) to sign a contract 2) that people are not morons. If that goes well I'm gonna be happy. And I know I'm gonna give 150% of myself and try to get the best out of and potentially aim to become a manager of store/region some day/year. But then again, I won't plan anything at the moment bar giving my best at the start to leave an impression.
When I look back I'm pretty satisfied how I 'spent' last two years with so much free time. I like how I dedicated a lot of time on myself, which probably helped me a lot more than four years at university. I learned Italian pretty decent, read like 80 books, learned some programs and stuff etc. But I guess it's time to continue this road with bigger steps.
