@X

My brother.

This summer, for me, is a concert summer that you would be proud of, and would probably join me in my 3 month trek of concerts that I have lined up, if I had planned this with you.

Rush- June 23rd- TD Garden

Foo Fighters- July 18th Fenway Park

Whitesnake July 24th Twin River Event Center (Literally 10 minutes away from my house )

AC/DC August 22nd Gillette Stadium

And...................................

as I was scrubbing my balls this morning in the shower, I found out that Van Halen will be at the Xfinity Center on August 1st. Now, I have seen them on the last 2 tours, so I may not go to this one, but you never know.
daaaaaamnnn :tuttosport:

Not sure about Van Halen, to be honest with you. And I came across Whitesnake by accident. I was watching That Metal Show and they had the new lead guitarist for them performing on the 2nd stage, and David Coverdale was interviewed via Skype, and he mentioned the new album "The Purple Album", a covers album of his Deep Purple stuff @Nzoric (If you have a chance to see the interview, please do. He talks about how he reconnected with Blackmore and how they were talking about getting the MK III group back together again shortly before Jon Lord passed away), and how they were touring the states this year

I went Online, I saw the Twin River Casino, and Sent a text to the wife.

"White Snake July 24th Twin River Event Center."

She knows I love Whitesnake.

I can't miss AC DC. I haven't seen them in almost 30 years.

As far as Van Halen. I've seen them twice since 2008, I don't know if I want to do it again. That would be stretching my budget quite a bit.

You need to turn up the volume quite a bit.

Warrant sucks.

But it really wasn't about the group though, now was it.
Oh, true.

Which isn't to say I wasn't a metalhead back in the day, as I was. I read Kerrang! And on their suggestion, and my affinity for Pete Way of UFO at the time, I bought Twisted Sister's Under the Blade -- completely weirded out by their get-up, only even more shockingly to witness them make the mainstream a couple years later. Then Metallica went from Kill 'Em All to a massive blow up.

But Warrant... White Lion... Great White... Winger... Skid Row... Slaughter (which I then called "S - Laughter")... I just couldn't do them. :inter: Poison and maybe Stryper was the most I could stomach of that ilk.

Skid Row I could handle because at least Sebastian Bach had a great voice.

Stryper........................To Hell with the Devil

@Kieselguhr Kid Hey, is surfing something you can just go out there and teach yourself?
Yes. If you have the patience with yourself and perseverance to spend a few days on it.

The biggest reason people think surfing is so hard is because they try it once or twice a year. It requires a good few days the first time and then regular sessions to improve like any other sport that requires balance of that sort and coordination alongside strength.

I've had numerous people tell me that surfing is the hardest thing ever because they have tried it 3 times over 5 years and still can barely stand up. I usually ask them if that's how they learned to ride a bicycle as a child. 3 attempts over 5 years.

Honestly, it's tough the first few days, but if you stick with it, you see very quick improvement after that.
