No people are better than Americans at panicking Been hearing for a week about this giant storm on Tuesday. Two grocery stores near my place got looted altogether. They canceled evening classes on Monday (for virtually 1 mm of snow). Got warnings all Monday about the imminent storm... Only to finally have a sunny Tuesday. The number of precautionary warnings you get for almost everything is insane. We were never warned in Iran (unless of course we wanted to protest in which case they would have warned us to stay home ). For other things (natural phenomena, air pollution, diseases, etc) however we were often caught off-guard so we learned on our own how to stay alive. We third-worlders are much better survivors than you westerners

It's insane. And it's not a "western" thing really. It's an American thing. Then again, that's probably also because everyone is liable for just about everything in the States.

Well, I didn't know there was two parts to it. I passed part one, and I have to go back tonight for part two. This part is a practical test of how well I can sell and I have to put together an outfit for someone that's appropriate for particular situations.

That sounds cool, I take it it's finished by now? If so how was it

I just had a rescheduled interview with the Napolitana, went well and they'll let me know what's up by the end of next week.
