You don't like reggae? One of my whitest professors is my music buddy when it comes to reggae :D
It's not that I don't like reggae, it's that I don't get reggae I think. My girlfriend is crazy about it, when she puts it on I can't stop staring at her and wondering if the relationship is ever going to amount to anything.

Reggae is IMO the most universal music genre around, I been to concerts/shows of different types of music, and Reggae concerts is the only genre where I find people from all ages (litterally saw little kids and geriatric grannies just chilling to the music), races, social standings, whole families, besides all ze young peeps, just vibing to the good vibes and positive spirit of it all. Had that impression on and off for long time, but it was confirmed when I went to Rototom sunsplash in Spain, one of the biggiest Reggae festivals in the world (biggiest in Europe). The energy of it was as much as lifestyle as about music (gave almost as much space to social forums/and platforms for issues in the world addressed by nobel laureates during the day, as they did to the music in the evenings).

You dont have to specify he is the whitest btw, been to dozen of Reggae festivals, and for sure White people love Reggae :D
