I caught her on Saturday, suspended her until today I told her is let her come back to work. When she got here 4 police officers were waiting for her. She was dumb enough to come back.
Good you caught her, but what does it say about you as the boss that she stole 55 times before you noticed? Huuuuuuuuuusted.

Husted! Cool that you caught her. It sucks that this is part of your job, but I've had to bust lunch thieves before who we fired. No cops, though.

You can be sure that this isn't an isolated 55 cases with her. Talk about a cry for help.

:lol::lol: nice, but to be fair to the hust its ridiculously easy to steal stuff from a retail store that you work for and not get caught which is why so many people do it so often. Im sure this woman ony got caught because she got too greedy

Yup, especially small items. Where I work, the managers are supposed to do a bag check whenever we leave the store, but they only check what's on top of the main compartment. If you carry a large bag it's easy to hide stuff. Not to mention coat pockets which they don't even check at all.

To be fair, I don't blame them for not being thorough though. The majority of us aren't thieves and if we were subject to emptying our bags and pockets every time we left, it would be way too much.

US Criminal law :sergio:

Here it would've counted as one felony, and although the amount of times it was commited would qualify for more jailtime than just one instance on it's own, all felonies wouldn't be added up. Instead of adding each one and just slapping on 5 years + 5 years + 5 years etc., the courts would do a broad consideration of the facts of the case and possibilities of bettering the individual and future prevention.

Around 10-12 years, out in 6-8 :touched:
