Question for anyone who knows (Greg, Martin!). Italians, when eating, say stuff like primo (piatto), secondo and frutta/formaggio. But as far as I know there's one more term in-between meals (lunch - dinner), do you happen to know the word they use?
I've heard the term merenda used (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merienda), but extremely rarely. More often I'd hear about the passeggiata, where people would walk around town in a pedestrian parade before dinner and grab some gelato or something to snack on.
I try to learn some new stuff which I could add into CV. I'd avoid doing that simply because I'd lose a lot of time while I cannot search for anything better (going for interviews etc.). It does have positive things, but hell, plenty of negative as well.
