People are different.

What are you doing today?
I actually used to be like that. But something changed.

I actually just tried to look into marcos of Excel. I knew the basic stuff but I wanted to go more detailed into it and I've realized such is not possible unless you know VBA. Which is pretty sad.

Other than that not much. I'm going out in half an hour, gonna meet with a friend of mine and talk a bit with him about jobs, life and stuff. Pretty nice weather outside so I think I'll walk back home, it's around 5km. After that I'm pretty much free. I'll plan what to do when I get back home. Btw I finished reading Il Piccolo Principe two days ago I think.

Cool.

I'm not a fan of Excel but I know lots people use it. The guy who designed VBA used to have a blog that was super popular. Still is I suppose.

Did you enjoy the book? I just started on Il Principe myself. Read it in Italian a few years ago, now French.

Do you think it's possible to 'learn' VBA for any common man like myself who know close to nothing about programming?

Absolutely amazing book, it has so many deep meanings and hard full of emotion sentences. It's basically for all generations but everyone will understand it differently. I used to look at translation literally every second, but it did got better later.

What are you planning to do today?

Yes, although I don't know what kind of resources are available for it. VBA is not a typical programming language that's meant for programmers, it's meant for Excel users.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I think my mom read it to me when I was 6 or something, so I thought it was a children's book. But not really. Did you use an audiobook too?

Planning is a big word. Gonna relax, do some coding maybe.

I read that book when I was 8 or something, I think it was the first book I ever read lol. But yeah, totally different meaning now. :D

I did, but just for the first part of the book. I found some on youtube, but it didn't follow the whole text :shifty: it skipped some/many parts and I got confused, eventhough it did last for like an hour and something.

Almost. VB already existed for years when they decided they needed a scripting language for Excel and instead of using VB they decided to create a whole new language. Which is similar to VB but not VB.
Oh, first time I've heard of it. But since it's similar to VB it should be pretty simple, no?

I don't, but I google for french stuff often and google has started to give me search results in french. Which I like, cause there are some nice french tutorial sites out there. :D

French tutorials are the best, they take the principal of using simple language when explaining the complex into a whole new level.

Even a 7 year old could comprehend that shit :D

You're right, that's impossible to misunderstand. :D
