Any of you use Livemocha to learn languages? Seems like a good programme so far.
It has various flaws like they translated the content of the lessons in one language to another, which actually has different verb tenses, so it doesn't really work. It has various other flaws along those lines, not enough real linguistic and pedagogical input.

But it's free to use, lots of content ready made, so it's nice enough.

Do you have any good/better ones to recommend?

I see a lot of errors in it too, but I think a lot of the content is user created.

The points system makes it fun though.

Not free sites that teach you the language, for that I'd go with Assimil. But there are lots of free sites for practicing a language that are useful.

*avoids payment*

I'd like to use it, but screw it. The harder the better. :p
Sure, it's not required for learning of course. The same information is available online, just not in one central place.

That's great news! :D Maybe you should smoke two joints to celebrate.
It's good news because I can't afford to fuck up, cause I'll be in front of my sibling and I'll be working with an old teacher of mine, he can possibly give me an awesome reference letter if things go well. Hopefully the extra pressure will put me in line.
