Superficial fucks. Problem #1 with Muslims today.

"A time will come when nothing will remain of Islam except its name and nothing will remain of the Qur'an except its inscription. Their mosques will be full but void of guidance. Their divines (Mullahs) will be the worst creatures under the sky; all the evil will be emerged from them and will revert to them."

Ya'll need a reformation, then wars of religion, then about 300 years of social progress.

:agree: 100% sad that our religion is being hi-jacked by people with extremely narrow minds. you know kudo's for having a minister of foreign affairs who is not only good looking but a smart woman who inspires!!

i know where you are coming from iz and while i kind of slightly agree with the word reform, i agree with u a change in the way of thinking needs to be achieved and more importantly a lot of catching up with the rest of the world. sadly and i'm not joking but there are people from pakistan all the way to morrocco who dream, and seem to be stuck in previous glories instead of focusing on being pioneers like we once were. i assure you my religion is not a backward religion, nor does it command us to be backwards however the tumor in our societies is the fear derived from ignorance of not knowing our religion. you see there is a big difference between knowing yr religion and claiming to know yr religion. the later causes what we are talking about here, the in ability to use the same rules and alter depending on the time and situation. any way thats my two cents and yes if we need reform its in education for sure!!!!!!!!! we are people who dont read sadly.

god be with you to be honest Oz luckily my nieghbor's are normal however i have a friend who is that kind but he is pretty hardcore and when you corner him he refutes to there fav means SCREAMING as if this will drown my point of view or sth :D they use religion or as they say the thin layer of the egg shell to what ever purpose best suits there interests, as for people who cant find food, or people who cant find jobs, etc they r not our headache.

Taking care of my two year old niece. Most obedient two your old ever, pretty much does everything I tell him to, and no tears or hint of a fuss when his fathers leaves the house alone with me. Unheard of with others in his age I know of.

The only way Islam can ever be a positive force in these societies is with open and free dialogue for Men,Women, Children, Gays, Atheists etc. Catholic Africa and the Islamic world share a very common problem. They are decades behind what is required for fair, free and vibrant democracy. The fault in the Islamic world is western and eastern backed dictatorships. If appears however that countries like Egypt, Libya and Syria are not suited to popular government right now because the majority or at least a sizable minority. are ignorant and easily radicalized.

Islam isn't the problem Bisco, you're right. The problem is Muslims.

here is sth interesting for you greg, i think u will appreciate this one. i kid you not this is'nt a joke or a scam but Egyptians have voted for our president to be sent to outer space!! part of first egyptain to be sent to space  thats how much we love the guy, and knowing he is a jinx we stand a chance of the shuttle not being able to break back into the earth's atmosphere leaving him stranded in orbit. not going to be missed for sure :D one beardie down, more to go but its a good place to start.
Nice! "Beardies in Space" -- I would watch that kind of TV.

Usually when we talk about putting a political official in space here, it's on the back of a nuclear warhead. :D

In a sad way, this reminds me of just human nature in general. Major religions of the world have experienced this sort of hypocrisy with an emphasis on the easy, superficial marks of self-righteousness but none of the hard work and true discipline it takes to follow up with personal actions of any depth. It's the guy who never misses a church service, condemns those who do not do so like him, but then beats his wife every week.

The good news is that these are universal problems of humanity. The bad news is that various civilizations have known this for centuries and still fall into that trap.

Yikes. Nice quote. Except we'll have beardies in the sky, not just under the sky. ;)

It's great to honor tradition and history. It's another to pretend that modernity is reversible and humanity can go back to "just as it once was". That's not living life, that's living in an historical theme park. Welcome to SaladinWorld, where for an entrance fee of 50 Euros you can enter a land where there are no cars, no indoor plumbing, healthcare consisted of bloodletting and trying to balance out your four humours, and most everybody dies by age 35.

Aleppo is getting bombed back into the 12th century, so that must be a good thing. :shifty:

Oh yes indeed! The problem is never with the religion but the people who enforce it!

I'm sorry, B, but that kinda thinking is just BS! Things will not get better until your people realize that their guide book is flawed and prone to being used for both good and evil! You people will blame everything except your religion. You'll never acknowledge that the problem is internal.

Oh, and all religions are backward because they insist people should believe what was written thousands of years ago! There will never be progress until concepts like sin, blasphemy, apostasy and infidelity are eradicated from the face of the earth!

Could be rather awkward if the silence of the library was suddenly broken by the sound of fapping.

What a lovely juxtaposed post :D

Well, you may or may not be aware of these uni 'spotted pages' on Facebook, quite worse goes off there which may not surprise you.

Fortunately I'm not that neanderthalian, so will deposit into the faithful wank bank for when I am alone in my masterbatorium sometime.

God trusts law is boring.
