is it the "perky" one?
Yes. She's an overachiever. Seriously, one of the profs was having trouble with the photocopier last night and sent us both an email about it at about 12am. We get in this morning, and she had already called the technician IN THE NIGHT! And then goes "teehee, I did it" (she literally says teehee) and proceeds to explain every single detail about what's wrong with it, as if she's briefing me after my missing an important meeting. It's just constantly like this, she treats me like I'm incompetent because she goes out of her way in her personal time to do admin work, while I actually have a life.

Seriously, if I could transmit the hantavirus I would.

That sounds terrible. Is there any way of switching offices or being reassigned to some other department? I'd go mental listening to that every day.

I know. My best friend here works in another office and has one of these as well. Turns out hers is best friends with mine!
Yeah they're pack animals. I once worked with two of them at the same time in a supermarket in high school. The whole point of the job was to do as little as possible, get your beer money. But nooooooo, "let's clean the floors even though it's not scheduled!"

Being colorblind sucks. Calling mom who is on work to ask if the clothes I'm wearing match.
 My boyfriend is, we have some interesting conversations when it comes to buying sheets or curtains.

Yup. I think she's just of a different time, and we young'uns really do see jobs like this as a means to an end instead of as a career.

It's a pain, but also a good icebreaker. I usually have to go through a style check before leaving the house, if my sister is at home she helps me if not then I have to shamefully ask momma.

When I lived alone I only had two sets of sheets and both were white, but I can imagine that aspect becoming increasingly complicated when you move in with someone.

:D I was going to an office party and my supervisor was giving me a lift, he asked me if his shirt matched his shoes (and was really worried about it). I said it would be better if he had something blue, somewhat jokingly, and he actually ran home and changed his shirt. I have power.

Shedevil

I had no idea that shoes were supposed to match with your shirt until now :scared:

I guess that's what you get for taking styling lessons from Jerry Seinfeld.

Yes, but not in my actual physical work space. My boss is great and he's next to my office, and my supervisor is great and he's also right next to me, so they're brilliant...but she's the devil.
ok good :)
cos i remember the person your directly work with wasn't so cool either :)
