Yeah every time I see mine ring I wish I could throw it away. :D I am not anti-social or anything but I have better things to do with my time. :p They're good for emergencies though. And when you have to meet up for limes.

a cellphone's a necessity for most people nowadays. the world has changed.
It really isn't, the vast majority of people don't need them at all.
Yes!!!!!! It's absolute Dolan dung. The companies make money by making you believe you cannot survive in the world without one. Kate's proof that you can. :agree:

Take it from someone who sees the horror today of what I looked like a dozen years ago with my Palm Pilot when I'd go to restaurants, etc.

For all you photography buffs, I've been doing a crash photography course via google and trial and error for the past hour and I know the faster the shutter speed, the higher the exposure is supposed to be. I set my exposure to high yet still my images are very dark unless I use the flash. Help!

Ok nevermind. I turned up the sensitivity and it fixed the lighting problem. But I have a new problem now :p The photo quality looks grainier. I am doing the zoom, blurry background image thing. If I use the aperture (A) mode I get a better quality but my hands are so unsteady I get motion blur. When I use the S mode it fixes the motion blur problem but now there is the grainer problem. :/

Alright nevermind. Higher ISO means grainier. Man you have to google all over the place to find this crap. :p On the bright side an hour ago I didn't know anything but point and click. :p

Cool. What's funny is that the digital world has these holdover terms from the age of film. So it's a bit like those vegans and vegetarians who go around eating their fake "chicken", etc.

Sounds like the theme song to a gay rape.

Speaking of cell phones, I'm crashing at my mate's place in Delhi and his landlord doesn't own a cellphone. I haven't met anyone who doesn't own one in a long, long time. He is mostly stoned or drunk, so he probably doesn't need one.

I went to the company today to handover my tasks to some other guy and collect my cheques. It took me 5 hours to transfer all my access data to the new guy. And I realized that during my time here I managed over 20 websites. I used to find my job very easy, and most of the times I felt that i wasn't doing any work. But truth be told, I had worked very hard! For once i am proud of myself :p!
