very few can convince me their job has any real meaning and or impact, it aint nothing but a paycheck, means to an end
I agree, I'm studying accounting & finance.. You think I enjoy it? fuck no haha I do it because I want to get a good job and earn good money. There aren't going to be any jobs (normal jobs) that I would enjoy so fuck it what else am I going to do? go for the $$$$$$$.

Depends on the shit and the ammount of money

Work in a job you love for 20k, buy everything you need
Work in a job you hate for 30k, buy everything you need and things you don't.

If you attach more enjoyment to having an iphone than having a smile on your face sure.
I agree with Dru, having lived alone for the first time this year - money is reall important and 20k a year will give you no enjoyment - Having a job i love but constant money worries or working 8 hours a day in job i dont like but having a stress free life....its an easy choice there man.

Working 8 hours a day in a job you hate - By definition that's not a stress free life. Of Course there's the healthy middle ground doing a job you don't hate but don't love earning a reasonable amount of money which covers your bills and leaves extra for 'fun'.

I'm calculating this personally at ~£26,000 or ~ $40,000 given than rent will sap at least 60% of my income.

For my MA, a month im spending 420 on rent, 100 on bills (gas, electric, wifi, water), £700 tuition (10 months or teaching out of £7000) - thats before food and social life etc. If I wernt a student i'd need to pay £70 a month on council tax.

Hey Aerosmith.

Jimmy Page called

He would like his riff to "The Wanton Song" back

Thank You.
Aerosmith :yuck: way overrated.

They ripped off Page????? That bastard Joe Perry, never did anything good except walk this way. He wishes he could have been 1/20th as good as Page is.

The Wanton Song is fucking awesome too, one of my favourites of PG.

To think that this is the company that once had a no layoff policy.
Show me a company with a no layoff policy, and I'll show you a company with deadwood employees.

funny because he is actually part asian :p
He's got the look... a little.

Man, he is one of the coolest Gandalfs around. Did you see him in It Might Get Loud?

I also think back to his seminal days pre-Zep, when he partnered with Jeff Beck (and Eric Clapton). Seeing Jeff Back back from the dead on SNL last weekend was a little underwhelming, however, but it was good to see him on a public stage like that again.
