At the house I am staying at during most of the week we recently got the net. The speed is decent, the issue is that the range of the wireless router modem is really poor and it seems when I play online games and skype it drops out, the signal does on the modem. It does it constantly. Am I right to assume that it cannot handle the bandwith? I was thinking that I would buy a better wireless modem. Would that help?
I don't think the bandwidth should effect your modem's wireless range. Have you tried to changing your wireless channel or turning off it's built-in firewall from the wireless modem's configuration?

Good to hear! Did you check out any of the cultural stuff or did you just get wasted over there? :p

My weekend lasted from Wednesday > Now . I'm beat, woke up this morning without any urge to live through the day, eating soup now and it's getting better. Got some pics in the batcave from a costume party thursday, was good fun
Got a St. Patty's day injury too, burning sensation when I pee and I'm pretty sure I went to the toilet with a skanky lady somewhere around 3am.

Saw the Palace, the Danube and some churches, but mostly got wasted yeah :D

Christ, I suddenly feel better about my bust foot compared to your fire pee

to answer both questions the speed itself is not too bad, fairly decent. The signal is very poor once I move away from the router. My room is upstairs only maybe max 20 or so meters away. My theory is that it is not the actual nets bandwidth but rather the modem's bandwidth, I believe it cannot handle it thus drops out. I assume it is a shitty g router as it was given to us by the provider. The range and bandwidth of the modem are two separate issues.

Very well thanks. Yes please organize a mafia game. I don't visit this thread or EPL thread very often.
BTW nice avatar. I am not reading much about it, fed up already.
Ya, don't have much time in these next few weeks, but surely after that i'll try and organize a mafia game, maybe even narrate one :p

So what will you be working as? Still in a uni?
Ya, looks like i'm stuck in this industry. I'm going to stay in the higher education sector for a couple of years, till i finish my masters degree, get a few professional certificates, and just build up some credentials, the ambition is to get into the consulting and training industry sometime in the next few years.

Sad thing is I can't even remember what she looked like, nor any of the sexy stuff we did. Guiness + Jameson = Le fuked.
Yeah, not knowing whether or not it was worth the pain is tough alright. Jameson, ughh, the thought of it now makes me wanna chuck, do you mix it or drink it straight? Jameson and red is delicious

We just ordered rounds of double Jameson and 1 big pint. Straight Jameson and then enjoying the beer. It makes you do silly stuff.

The speed also drops greatly when I move into my room.
