Yup... My company pays 30% more in support as 'compensation'... And if you have to work shifts (I never have) then you get payed another 20% or so more...

geez, it only took you what 6 months to get there? :D waterfall process?

Yup :D
Actually most of the other components are either in the final stages of coding or in their testing phase... Only the webMethods part got stuck as the chief designer (from the client side) wasn't ready to sign off the HLD until he was completely sure...

are you guys in the U.S. ?
The company has an office in New Jersey... Have no idea how big (or small) it is... All I know is that Nexaweb is a client and that we have also done some projects for Pepsi... Other than that the other clients are Europe based, mostly UK...

sounds like a recipe for big fail, this is not like building a bridge where you make sure everything is perfect before you move on to the next step.

so you're finally gonna get something to work on at least :D

woke up about 10 minutes ago(second shift of sleeping)...last night i was at an 18 years anniversary party...i was "dj" ....there were like 25 girls and 10 boys that did not dance...so me and a friend of mine did the honours :D..

Yup... the development part will last about 2 months or so... Its a huge project and this is the first phase... the overall project should last about 2 yrs or so...

Well, i SHOULD be getting my 15 month hike from next month, and my performance has been my personal best this month, so im surely in for some incentives in my next pay. Ill also be getting Night Shift Allowance for this month(last month i was in teh morning shift, so no NSA), which is gonna add to the final amount! so Feb is gonna be an awesome month already! :D
