You can say that. Me and 16000 of my closest friends went to see the mighty Van Halen last night in Boston. I'm drained. And Deaf. 15th row center stage will do that to you.


Greg, if you are out there, you would appreciate this. They played several deep cuts, including "Women in Love", "Hear about it Later", and the one song that blew my fucking mind "Hang 'em High".

Sweet. Are they any good live?

This just reminds me that I haven't been to a gig for 6 months now. The last one was Mastodon in June, outdoor gig at Roskilde. I miss gigs :sad:

Dave can't hit the high notes like he used to, but he sounds a lot better than he did when the tour started a few weeks ago. Eddie is still a god.


And yes, as weird as this is going to sound, Kool and the Gang were really good, and by the end of their set, they had the whole place up and dancing.
