Can anyone tell me one good thing (or the best) that came out of the 18th century?

and then conversely tell me one bad thing (or the worst) that came out of the 18th century

I only go for smart dudes.

And don't you hate on Austen, man. I do prefer the Brontes, but ridiculous romantic fantasy does have its place (and no, it's not in garbage, or any other such place).

San Francisco is not the cheapest town in the Western Hemi to hang out for a couple extra days. But it sounds like it's more the time-off thing...

Did you have to get a work visa?
Goddamnit, Greg! Don't tell me I'll regret those extra days in SF! :(

Yea, I'm getting a non-immigrant business visa. Gonna visit the US consulate in Chennai on Monday to prove to some Amreekans that I ain't a terrorist.

Tell them you're the Indian guy on Big Bang Theory. They just might buy it.

That's where I read it.
No wonder why Kindle sales of Jane Austen are so low.
