I don't know. I just wanted to get all fucked up. I'm planning to try all drugs at least once, except for coke and heroin.
Coke is only a problem for rich people, at least in these parts anyway. Never bought it, always just seemed to acquire it the odd time. Fun for a bit but will never replace lady liquor imo.

Heroin is just bad news, I know this from personal experience.

Greg, watcha think of this?

No, not Bill Maher or Mitt Romney's father.
:D

Bill is actually being kind of ignorant. People unfortunately don't know the difference between factual evidence and beliefs. Belief that there is no being beyond the human mind is a belief -- just as it was a belief, and not factual evidence, that Newtonian physics was only a partial solution.

He makes a comparison to abstinence being a sexual position, but the fact is abstinence is still a sexual practice. It's certainly not a dietary nor a religious one.

People get too smart for themselves and can't even recognize when they're being stupid or when they're confusing the messenger for the message. Bill falls into that trap on this one. Atheism is a religion. It's just that people are so wound up trying to un-identify with religion that they miss when they are behaving exactly the same way.

But everyone has beliefs, Greg. It's the basis of the belief that matters. I can believe that you're wearing a red Polo shirt right now. But the validity of that belief depends on the basis of which I hold that belief. In almost all walks of life, factual evidence is that basis. But in the belief in a god, it's not factual evidence that acts as the basis of the belief. Belief is the result of factual evidence, not an alternative of it.

Here's another example if abstinence is not good enough: Is the practice of NOT collecting postage stamps considered a hobby too?
I"VE MISSED MY BABIES!
