My apologies. I have a difficult time with them - on the one hand I associate them with horrible Southern men and their Dockers and boat shoes, but on the right man with the right pairings they can look attractive (see avatar for reference). Baseball caps, however, are always a turn off.
Our equivalent wear 'indie' clothes with deck shoes and back combed hair. I don't even want to know what a southern man is. It sounds like a 'fratt boy' stereotype

There are always exceptions. But besides my Juve hat, and an SF Giants hat my dad got me ages ago, I have baseball hats that are flat-out blank.

But I'm with A on this one. Why the hell do people pay extra money so they can advertise someone else on their clothes?

well once again it's cultures, wearing a baseball cap here is like wearing a sweater in europe, i wear that to the gym, to restaurants to work, everywhere, grew up with it
