Nope. I thought the movie was a major disappointment. When I read books and see movies based on the books, the worst thing they can do is to have one medium try to emulate the other instead of taking advantages of the native merits of the medium itself. e.g., for books that's often the internal narrative. For movies that's often the visuals and editing with music, etc.
Sin City failed to me because it was too much graphic novel and not enough movie.
