Much more convenient, more organised, no size limits when people send me files. And I never get spam in my Inbox.

Not sure how hotmail is nowadays, but at the time, this was a HUGE plus.

I don't actually use hotmail--my account just is--I use the Mail program in my Mac.

I guess it's not really a big deal because my e-mails aren't important in nature
