@Fr3sh 2nd Youssoupha tune is soooooooo dope (my fav tune with him is called les disques de mon pere, beautiful)

About french rap, not Youssoupha level, but you ever seen the wire tv series? :D

@Aush, cant find it on youtube, but beat goes in: https://soundcloud.com/interscope/hs87-on-everything-feat-hit-boy-young-dro-snippet
Nah I haven't watch the wire, but heard nothing but good stuff about it. And that stringer bell song, no lie yo, I stopped 0:54 secs lool this style of rap is kinda what made me stop listening to rap for a little while.

And Disque de Mon pere is one of my fav too touching song

Can't wait for Negritude :tuttosport:
Youssoupha is EXACTLY what hip hop is lacking nowadays I dare say dude is top 3 active rappers period if not the best, just plain disgusting!!! Dude's got a purpose

it's a heavy set of balls that hip hop needs. the times of the nas' and the krs one is past, the youth ain't saying much, got soft and concern on some bullshit, when clowns like azeala iggu shit is one of the most figures in modern day rap there's a serious problem anyway gonna stop at this

The guy IS Hip Hop, the man is straight fire!!!!! Try to find some translation of his lyrics dude is super relevant

here's a line from phantome et pharaon

Like the elders say, all that is done for us, without us is against us

Ignorance became an obstable, whites are visiting Goree and leaving with postal cards

If my album is called Negritude it's because of Jacque Foccar

Foccar is "diplomat" that is known to cause internal issues within france afrique and used to trigger series of coup d'etat when not pleased with the powers in place.

Youssoupha is extremely relevant, extremely well versed and amazingly talented

I love when Youssoupha boast about Africa.
