I was 13, so I'm not really that old, but it's still crazy to think about.

The funny thing is that I could NEVER have discovered Ladytron back in 2002. Our only sources of music was MTV and word of mouth. It's only a few years later that I started discovering different music through the internet.

They actually WERE on the radio here. I haven't listened to anything but my iPod/ iTunes or internet radio in quite a while now, but at least back then one of the local stations here used to do a late night "obscure/underground" program which is when they would be played.

But yeah, around age 12-13 was when I stopped listening to shitty boy bands & started to shift more towards my current taste.

Yeah, I think some of their songs are similar in style to Ladytron, but they also have more rock-oriented songs as well, I think they're a little more diverse.
