Yes.

Contact is fucked up, it sounds like an attempt at something like Around The World/Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger from Alive 2007, like a 'big' track if you know what I mean, except it's lame.

The drums make it sound organic, but damn, the end product is so hit n miss on this one. There are a lot of songs that I just don't like in this album. Contact, Doin it Right, Beyond, Touch, Within.

But I really love Giorgio by Moroder, Instant Crush and Fragments of Time. Those are some good songs. Turned out well IMO.

Doin' It Right is a fucking disgrace of a song. I can't believe they used that generic 808 sound :sergio: same as what you hear on lil wayne and that shit :facepalm2:

Ever since I saw the Collaborators video with that piece of shit 'panda bear', I knew I would hate the track he is on. Couldn't stand listening to that hipster fuck think how artistic he is making some stupid indie music.

Those songs like Beyond and Within suck imo. They sound like knockoffs of stuff like Digital Love and Veridis Quo except they are missing that awesome vibe of what made those tracks so amazing.

The only songs I can say I geniunely like are Give Life Back To Music, Giorgio By Moroder and Get Lucky.

    Ridiculousy underrated Led Zep album.

Jesus, mary, joseph, ralph, and groucho I sure do love me some Mastodon

Any Coheed and Cambria fans in here?
Presence was their last great album imo. In Through The Out Door is pretty meh to me, probably due to the lack of Jimmy Page in the writing process.

    Mastodon :touched:

Always wanted to check em out. How are they?

What about Instant Crush? It's one of my faves right now. Really nice vibe despite the autotuned vocals.

You have impeccable taste in music.

What do you think of Uriah Heep?

Also, I was lucky enough to experience this live:

Houdini is good, but much like Mastodon - don't expect to love it the first time you listen to it. Stoner Witch is my personal favorite, but Houdini is pretty cool too :D

    :weee:

I think I've purchased about 9 copies of it all together. I've found that when you buy someone a CD they feel obligated to listen to it - so it's an effective way of spreading the propaganda.

Check this out, one of their best songs imo

We share a lot of similar musical tastes so I'm quite sure he'll like it. He got me into Tool :p I would've bought Leviathan too but they didn't have it. Only CtS, Blood Mountain and The Hunter.

How do you rate their albums? I've only really listened to Crack The Skye, Leviathan & The Hunter. For me it's that order.

    Can't internet is capped :sigh:
