pretentious douche. what is there to know about electronic music? It's a sequence of programmed noises which sound pretty good if you put them together in the right sequence.
More ignorance, I mean the state of electronic music today and where Daft Punk came from. Stop with the name calling too.

p.s. Stone is a great track, have a listen again.

I think your POV is a little too simplistic. James does have a point. And you can't dismiss RAM so quickly. I think it needs time.
Indeed, you also have to understand they weren't even try to make 'Discovery' again. This is different, it's a very 70s/disco album, and not just by influence i.e. Discovery. However even with this I think it's a bit of a letdown.

Giorgio by Moroder is the only good track off this turd. The rest can take the next exit and go play with Lulu :pado:
And you call me the ignorant teenager? :lol2:

But I don't care what they tried to make, the end product is bad. Plenty of disco music is great, that doesn't mean that an album exploring that style partially is automatically good. Poor execution.

I did say it is a disappointment if you didn't notice... but it's not a horrible album either.
An up and coming band might be satisfied with 3-5 of these songs as their EP, but Daft Punk are releasing this. It's a pretty big deal and they're not upholding their end, imo.

Glad I didn't throw 20 EU after this. Thank god for internet piracy to help me sort out the weeds.

It's the antichrist to modern EDM. They pretty much started what edm has become today and I think they just want to get the funk and groove back into edm.

It's much better than what I expected. Some meh stuff, but also cool moments.

And also, In Rock is slightly better than Machine Head :p .
That's how I felt as well. I like it better than Rapture of the Deep. I wasn't too keen on that album. Not bad work for a group that has only one original member left.

Former Deep Purple guitarist. Ironically enough. Look it up. It's true.
