Ok new Daft Punk album is a disappointment. Far too much hype for what it is, not to mention so many of the tracks just lack capitvating hooks and sound like b-grade versions of some stuff on Discovery i.e. The Game of Love, Within, Beyond. I think the 70s influence is too dominant, especially on 'Fragments of Time'.

Only tracks I liked were Give Life Back To Music, Giorgio by Moroder, Get Lucky and Contact. Lose Yourself to Dance is cool but ruined by the vocoder voices 'cmon cmon cmon' and 'dodododododadodododod'

Doin' it right is an absolute shocker, was not expecting that.

Overall I'd give it about 6/10.

Good thing the new Alice in Chains comes out in about 2 weeks :excited:

Just like me and Crack The Skye? To be fair, I've barely listened to it, but you don't seem like someone that knows much about electronic music.
pretentious douche. what is there to know about electronic music? It's a sequence of programmed noises which sound pretty good if you put them together in the right sequence.

Random Access Manure.

And two of the three leaked songs from AiC are bollocks too, looks like a disappointing summer for music!
