both :yuck:

:D

I really don't like that screaming/growling. Not because I think it's emo or bad like most people that don't know good music, I just don't like it and it isn't appealing to my ears. Only Chuck Billy can do it good according to my ears :p Even then, a lot of Demonic I don't like and a few tracks off The Gathering as well, like Legions of The Dead and Fall of Sipeldome.

That's funny since Chuck Billy is terrible at both screaming and growling. He has no technique and it's out of tune most of the time, especially live :p .

 Probably why I like him then. His voice was amazing back on the early albums and even now it's still pretty good.

Carey is a beast, no doubt about it. It's hard to compare him with Thomas Haake, they're so opposite in styles. I slightly prefer what Haake is doing since it's a bit harder than the majority of stuff Carey does, but it's all a matter of taste. Lombardo is an overrated hack, though.

Haake is the drummer of Meshuggah btw

Lombardo was pretty good on Raining Blood, Seasons in the Abyss etc and amazing on The Gathering :p

Gene Hoglan & Paul Bostaph are pretty good too but they still fit in the 'all drummers ever' category

And all those 3 drummers have one thing in common :D (apart from playing drums)
