Certain new movie I saw in cinema will kinda govern my music listening coming days with its groovy retro soundtrack lol

Is it just me, or does this singer look look like Alice cooper with a dash of Lady gaga?

Are you talking about Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2?

If so, My dad had these two songs on 45's back in the day. The first one is understandable, but the 2nd one? I swear I thought My dad and I were the only ones who had heard of this song :howler:

And that Daniel Casear song is nothing special

@Osman, if you want me to throw some more stuff like this at you in this genre just let me know. My dad used to have all of the K-tel collection of albums.

Don't ask me what K-tel is. Look it up yourself :D

They have Glen Campbell on the soundtrack? I hate country music with a passion. The amount of country artists I love and respect, I can count on one hand, with fingers to spare.

Glen Campbell is one of them. I LOVE Glen Campbell, and hate that Alzheimer's has almost completely dimmed his light. Great performer, and a phenomenal guitar player. He played on EVERYTHING relevant in the 60's. Here is a clip from 2008. Keep in mind that he is 72 at this time.

Seventy fucking two.

Yesw, I have Spotify.

In a nuthsell, K-tell was "Now that's what I call Music" before it was called that.

I'll dig some stuff up.

Gotta wonder, if we will be kicking ass on what we love the most at 72 lol

Is southern nights really a country song? It doesnt feel like it, its just a really happy good song IMO. One of my favs from the movie, with father son and the sam cooke song (bring it on home to me).

And yeah when I tend to have the "agree to disagree, different tastes" talk about music with people, I tend to finish off its acceptable to like all kinds of music EXCEPT for country :D

The cinema kinda loled when this song came on hehe:

K, feel free to pm me your old timey spotify list (or youthful days tunes for you :D).

Yeah greatest dancer is lit, its kinda ridicolous 4 that talented performers come from same family, they look like twins too. Its cheesy, but only few times we can convince our mother to dance is when we put the sisters anthem song "we are family" lol.
