Also Jar of Flies. You can get a good contrast between the heavy side and their acoustic side.
man I love AiC, they are like one of my very favourite bands ever, easily top 5.
Dirt is incredible though, probably the best 'grunge' album ever from that scene and possibly the best alt metal album ever too. Probably better than any Soundgarden album and I'd say I like Soundgarden overall even more than AiC.
Them Bones, Rooster and Would.. can't go wrong there. If you don't like those songs and Man In The Box then you won't like AiC
Also don't let Nzoric tell you their new post-Layne Staley (RIP) stuff is better than their original 90s stuff.
The new stuff is quite good but it doesn't really stack up to the 90s stuff with Layne. It's quite a different style too, the modern stuff seems a bit more doom like while their older stuff grooves a bit more while still being heavy. Dirt is the kind of album that you put on with the intention to listen to a couple of songs or and then end up listening to it like 3 times on repeat.
