Ensiferum was the band Jari Maenpaa of Wintersun was in before Wintersun. They're still around today but with a different frontman. If you like Wintersun you will probably like Ensiferum too.

Not sure how much Scandinavian metal you actually listen to, but if you ever want any other recommendations I can post a list of some of my favorites. Was a huge metalhead in high school/first couple years of uni, nowadays I listen to a much wider variety of music but I still have quite a bit of it in my collection.

No problem, sorry for the late reply, was stuck at work all day & then had to catch up on all the football I missed.
Besides Wintersun/Ensiferum... would definitely recommend Amon Amarth, Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Eluveitie, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity & Turisas. These are some of the more popular ones & all their songs should be pretty easy to get a hold of. Maybe also try some older Children of Bodom, I used to love them a lot, but personally to me their last couple albums have been awful, you might still like them though.
I have more (lot of good non-Scandinavian ones as well, Germany for example also produces some great metal bands) but try some of those out & see what you think first, also so I can gauge what you like.
